Permanent Mooring

Permanent Mooring is the fourth stage of the Dovetail Relocation Service and is designed to help organisations prepare their employees for the transition from expatriate status to local terms of employment in the UK.

Following a detailed briefing from the HR department, we conduct a face-to-face interview with the employee and their family to discuss areas where cost savings can be made without compromising lifestyle. We then produce a report detailing localisation options covering housing, healthcare, schooling, tax and lifestyle.

Every step is taken to ensure the needs of the employer are met with minimum disruption to the home life.

Permanent Mooring, unlike Anchorage, Charting New Waters and Safe Harbour, is an independent service usually taken up towards the end of an expatriate assignment.
